Thread/Post Width

At some point we need to figure out why certain posts remain a certain fixed width, while others fill the whole width of the thread. The weird thing is how this happens both ways within the same thread.

Alright, here is an image. Notice my post width next to Sora's. This is from the NRSC thread.

Ah I see. That IS strange. I'll see if I can figure it out.

Edit: I found out "why" it's doing what it's doing, so I'll see if I can figure out a fix. Apparently it has something to do with alternating posts. Person A posts and the message seems aligned to the left, person B posts and it spreads from corner to corner. Sort of how most forum layouts have a light post first, followed by a darker background in the next post, and then back to the light background.
