We've been around for a good while now and many of you know each other. However, one thing that has not happened is acknowledgment of what this group is meant to be. We have had our friends show up and use our vent, and some of these people have given little to no recognition towards other members, and some have even blatantly ignored certain individuals or treated them unfairly. Though we do not have a cursing policy we do not want people on vent using foul language all the time. It should not be your means of expressing frustration, anger, or anything of the sort. I have a personal distaste with it. If we were going for thousands of members we would have no cursing policy. However, we are going for a clan setting, and currently a clan setting we do not have.
The changes that will go into effect as of Friday Evening will do more than "announce" these changes. It will force these changes. I will now take the time to break down what changes will be taking place.
VENTRILLO + RANKS
1. Guests - Guests will be incapable/not allowed to be dragged to other channels on Vent. They will not be allowed to participate in any clan events, and will have no say in the decisions we make or how things are ran. They will be stuck in the guest channel and will be incapable of leaving the guest channel.
2. Registered Guests - No longer considered to be "members" are the users who register on the site and ask for a vent account. Registered Guests will have access to both the guest channel and the assorted gaming channel. Like guests, however, they will have no say and will be incapable of being dragged to other channels. They will, however, be able to use comments, begin private chats, and those goodies.
3. Squire - The Squire is an individual who passed their 1-2 week trial for full membership of the clan by submitting an application for one of our games. These individuals have also been assigned a Knight (or higher) to help them to understand how the clan works, train them (if needed) in a game, monitor them, etc. Squires will be able to change channels.
4. Knight - The Knights are Squires who have passed their trials to proceed to the next rank. They must be proficient in the game they play and have proven capable of organizing and handling things. They will serve as a moderator for their respected game's channel.
NOTE: More ranks follow the Knight but have no additional priviledges until the Duke, so the Duke will be explained. Other ranks are honor titles, among which are Earl, Baron and Count.
5. Duke - "Smods" who have the authority to kick users from Vent.
6. Archduke - has full priviledges and administrator status. Will also be able to give themselves a custom title to appear next to their name.

Our Games:
The following games will provide a competitive clan atmosphere. A minimum of 2 weeks is required to be inducted into these groups if you have not already been playing with us, forum use is a necessity, and the ability to make clan matches is a must.
League of Legends - Though many expressed no interest in forming a clan for this game, Sora and I have decided to operate one even if we start out with just a few people. You may play League with us unofficially if you are not a part of the clan portion, but level 30 will be required if you wish to compete in Ranked matches with us, as well as clan matches. Members will be required to be capable of playing at least 3 roles (such as Tank, AoE, and DPS.)
Starcraft 2 - This group will accept anyone who has obtained the rank of Squire and will provide weekly training sessions to help teach those new to RTS games (or Starcraft) how to be a valuable asset on any team. Expect friendly tournaments, as well as clan matches.
Guild Wars 2 - Though not released, we will be supporting Guild Wars 2. More information will be provided closer to the game's release.
CASUAL GAMES
Lord of the Rings Online - No skill is required to join the LOTRO group and all registered users on Nobility are welcome. To obtain member status they must be at least a Squire on Nobility, and to obtain Officer status they must be Knight. (NOTE: To boost our roster some individuals may be promoted to officer temporarily.)
Gmod - An RP server which provides some fun Space Mod instances. More info coming soon.
