NOTE: RETURNING MEMBERS MUST NOW GO THROUGH THE ENTIRE PROCESS IF REAPPLYING!

Thank you for your interest in joining Nobility. We are a multi-gaming clan with varying levels of membership separated by Tiers. As an applicant, you are immediately placed into Tier 1 as soon as an administrator has the time to adjust your rank. Once you submit your application you will be expected to integrate yourself into Nobility's community as a whole. If you isolate yourself to one game and a handful of members, rather than try to get to know everyone, chances are slim that you will be allowed to stay. You are given 4 months to accomplish this. If you are not asked to leave within the 4 month period, then congrats! You made it to the rank of Page and are an official member of Nobility.

Mission Statement
Nobility Gaming strives to create an environment where mature gamers can come to play games both casually and competitively and escape the stress of everyday life. Our goal is to build this community around a close-knit core of friends and in so doing avoid the drama prevalent in many more traditional clans. We recognize that many older gamers have enough stress and obligations in life and wish Nobility to be a sanctuary characterized by an air of friendliness that will lead to long-term friendship among members.

Member Rules
The rules that govern the members of Nobility are as follows:
1. Be respectful: There are no exceptions. We expect that you show respect to everyone, especially while representing Nobility.

2. Keep in touch: Our goal is to create a community built on a core group of friends and give every member a chance to be in that core. This isn’t possible if you simply do not keep in touch with us. We actively use a Mumble VoIP server, Steam chat and our forums.

3. Do not compete with Nobility: Do not participate or run any events or groups that directly compete with Nobility*
*Some exceptions apply. See the Non-Compete clause for more information

Member Responsibilities
Each member is encouraged to participate as much as their schedule allows. However we understand that many people have busy schedules and any number of things may supersede online gaming so we do not strictly enforce an activity policy. Instead, we ask that you simply observe rule #2 and do what you can to keep yourself a part of our community. Members who disappear for prolonged periods of time with no communication conflict with rule #2 and will likely lose standing amongst the other members if not find themselves removed from the active clan roster. The most important thing is to form friendships and be an active part of the community, which is impossible without communication. Even if you can’t play games for a given amount of time, keeping in touch by anymeans is strongly encouraged.

Members of Nobility have the responsibility to abide by all rules set forth herein. Members who break these rules will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis by the Nobility Council and may, in some situations, face expulsion from Nobility for major infractions.

Application for Membership
Prospective members of Nobility are encouraged to apply on the forums. Applicants will be judged by members of the gaming group through which they found Nobility. Once accepted, they are given the rank of Squire and have most privileges afforded to Tier 2* members. They can be further promoted by branching out from the group through which they entered and getting to know the rest of the clan.

We have several requirements in order to be eligible to apply for membership.
1. You must be able to communicate in English. Unfortunately, most of our members speak English almost exclusively; while we respect the use of other languages, we ask that English be used in participating with Nobility.

2. While we have no official age requirements, we do ask that you prove that you are of sufficient maturity to interact with the rest of the clan. We strive to build the clan into a group of older, mature gamers, so the ability to interact with that demographic

3. You must meet any additional requirements as determined by the gaming group(s) you wish to join. These groups have the right to adjust their own recruiting policies so long as they don’t conflict with the requirements of Nobility as a whole.

Due to recent community backlash and poor behavior, interview process is required for all who have not achieved the rank of Squire.
