Just wanted to clarify our policy on "base raping." It's possible to do so in the game, therefore base raping is A-Okay. It's a tactic. Keep the enemy from being able to leave their base and you stand the chance of winning. If the enemy can figure out a way to get a few good guys out of the base to cap a point or the team manages to kill off the majority of the "base rapers", then good for them.
Also, I would like those of you who have been attending practice and leaving abruptly after 20 minutes-30 minutes because you don't like a gametype, are angry that you arn't doing too hot, are pissed at getting hit by gustavs or any other type of weapon, etc. to deal with it. Practices will have hour requirements from now on. If you can't attend the full hour, let us know the moment you hop on vent (or tell Jon or myself on steam the moment you launch the game.)
Practices are intended for us to get used to playing with each other, get better at using our weapons of choice, and practice playing various game types. It also serves as a means of populating our server. The server costs money, and that money is our money. Getting a server popular takes time and attendance. They will come eventually, but not at the snap of a finger.
