We moved from Kaas City to The Swiftsure, and not even 6 hours later the new guild had achieved the 40 man milestone. Tonight as I type this we are nearing 70...may have already surpassed that. The guild also destroyed the Coruscant world boss.

New recruits who get onto mumble are promoted to Member. To get anything higher, however, you must do one of the following:

Lieutenant - Formally apply to join Nobility by submitting an application, and then be on course to be accepted. To be sure you are on the right track, simply check the forums often, post occasionally, but more importantly, use Mumble to better communicate with Nobility's core group. An alternative is to reach level 30 in the game and have been in the guild for 2 weeks. ***Lt.s can recruit and promote people to Member.***

Officer - Reserved for those dedicated to Nobility as a whole. This means forum participation, mumble activity, helpful and friendly behavior to all, and we "know" you. If you're just here for SWTOR and don't wind up becoming genuine friends with the people of this community, you may never get Officer.

For the new recruits who found this and are reading it, Nobility will ultimately be about forming a close bond with each other. We want a sort of "brotherhood" vibe. Our aim is not to become the largest guild on the server. We will remain social and friendly. Once things start to feel "crowded" (or we hit 150 unique individuals) we will close recruitment.

So do not worry older members of Nobility. Our mission has not changed. MMOs just call for a different tactic.

Many of you may have noticed some rather startling changes just took place while all of you were at work or school. A few of you may have been online and witnessed the changes before your eyes. Long story short, our old setup was not working. We are a clan, and as such we need to operate as one. That means devoting the bulk of your online game time to a group or two, and doing so in an effort to further the group's success. That means propaganda and recruitment.

We are targeting a mature crowd of gamers interested in group play in all games to compete against other clans. That means LoL=ranked play, BF3=winning against other clans and their servers, and SWTOR=getting decently sized and doing Operations and PvP. All other styles of gaming (solo, among ourselves, etc.) is considered as practice or casual play and does not require actual membership.

Apply to join and you'll almost certainly be accepted into the group. You must be a member of one of our primary game groups (BF3, LoL, SWTOR.)

Minecraft has been dropped. It is no longer a supported group in Nobility.

The Council has been dissolved. The new method of getting into a staff position is to quite simply be the leader of a group that I accept. I now run Nobility in it's entirety.

This is an old fashioned, traditional clan that allows it's friends to hang out with us. However, we will be focused on clan play in an effort to be "better" than other clans. Yes we're starting out from scratch, more or less, against these other groups. But we can do it. Just need to have a little Hope!

This week we will be doing Holocron runs and mass clan PvP for Warzones. You need a character level 10-49 to participate. Level 50s may tag along for the holocrons, but we encourage low levels to be on for the Warzoning. As we hit each planet we will be recruiting and may do the occasional Heroic to help the new recruits if they require said help.


The event will begin Thursday Evening at 8 PM EST, and will repeat each day through the weekend. If you show up late do not fret, as this will likely last several hours each night. Great opportunity to get Holocrons for all of your characters.

Keep leveling up your characters in SWTOR, we really want to get in to Ilum and need a full squad of level 50s.

Last week we saw a more successful run with our events than the previous week. Though we had poor turnout on Friday and Saturday for PvP, we did manage to recruit a few new members and we made our Sith guild, Nobility's Nefarious Nerfherders. Sunday Sora managed to get some PvP going and we had about five solid warzone matches, most of them victories. Even with just a level 18 Sentinel and a level 24 Scoundrel we were able to control the battlefield. This proves that with a solid team and a good VOIP, it's very possible to take down any foe in a warzone. We continued to win the matches once we had 4 or 5 members in a warzone together. The pugs just served as meat shields!


Due to the conflicting schedules, however, we will be modifying how we do things. From now on for the next week or two to test the waters, every night at 8 PM EST expect us to be running Warzones or other group events. Just get onto mumble and hop ingame, and once a few of us are online we'll begin.


In addition, I am presenting a challenge! For the next two weeks, I challenge all members to a recruitment challenge. Whoever, at the end of two weeks, recruits the most members who join up on Mumble and sign up on the forums, submitting an app., and get active with nobility (that includes talking to us and participating in warzones and other group stuff,) will receive a 60-day prepaid card code for SWTOR.
